We do hope our full members all can arrange to attend it. Regarding to your double posted card, after checking on attend / not attend and write down your signature please send it back ASAP. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: +++ Event Report :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: "IWC Exchange Meeting" We had "IWC Exchange Meeting" on 1/June(Sat) at 2:00 p.m. aiming that volunteer Japanese language teachers would come together and discuss problems they have. The attendance were 20. The agenda was: 1) About the objectives of this meeting 2) Self-introduction by all the attendance 3) Discussion 4) Close the meeting It was the first time for the volunteer Japanese teachers who teach Japanese at different classes to come togeter, and I was exhilarated by hearing what made them involved in this kind of activity. After 2 hours, the time was up. It was so short that we could not disussed much, but we found some points to be improved. Some of them is seemed to have been improved (e.g. to open the conference proceedings). As we have cared for, at almost every department they have been troubled by that they always require capable human resources. Now that we have our web site and recently quite a people view it, I think it is waste that they don't make their profit of it. But probably our members may know our web site and its contents less than non-members, I think during writing this column. Therefore, I will post a bill to let our members know our web site and call on them to recruit the persons they want. When I get any information from them, I will post it on the web as well as other web site ASAP. By the way, at the end of self-introduction by all the attendance, our General Manager shed tears during addressing the meeting. Seeing that scene, I was a little impressed.
