Participants for CWN DISCOVERY STUDIO "Thai Cooking and New Year Songgran Festival"

CONTENT	We learn to cook Thai food and enjoy it, and listen to the story on the Thai new year and experience it. * This year's Songgran was on 13-15 April, but we delay it by 1 month because of preparation.
DATE & TIME	Saturday 29 May 2004 13:00-16:00
WHEN AND WHERE WE MEET	at 1:00 p.m. in CURIAN Shinagawa Community Hall 3F
WHEN AND WHERE WE SAY GOOD-BYE	around 4:00 p.m. in CURIAN Shinagawa Community Hall 3F
VENUE	Yamanaka elementary school "Iki Iki Hiroba"
FEE	Child: free Adult (IWC/IAC member): ¥800 Adult (IWC/IAC non-member): ¥1000 * The benefit of this event will be spent on CWN's other activities. CWN's aim is to provide opportunities that lots of people meet each other, learn more and express their own cultural activites.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION	IWC/IAC non-members need to registration for participation. The deadline for it is Thursday, 27 May, 4:00p.m.
Thai Cooking" provisional menu	Thai Anmitsu tasting coconut sweet of banana and coconut Thai salad with bean-starch vermicelli * Everyone cook 1 and 2. 3 is cooked in groups.
Experience of Thai new year "Songgran"	On the outside, we celebrate the Thai traditional Water Splashing Festival. We listen to the story on the Thai new year. Children do an act to respect old people as well as to respect their teachers and parents.
